Pearl & Provenance

You are a pair of nameless demigods fleeing a terrible calamity.
The divine lands where you once dwelt are no more.

Pearl & Provenance is a two-player RPG where you can play a strategy game, create a world and collect a set of creation myths all at the same time. Raise islands from the ocean, create unique and bizarre lifeforms, inspire greatness in mortals, save the shattered pieces of your lost civilization, and circle warily around your fellow demigod as you judge who will strike out at the other first.

In order to play, you will need two players, approximately four to five hours, a hex grid, writing utensils, a way to track tokens, and at least one d4.

Pearl & Provenance is based on the Caltrop Core SRD and is made possible in part by a Caltrop Core Microgrant. It was submitted as an entry to the Caltrop Core Jam 2, hosted by titanomachyRPG.
